Beyond Boundaries: Navigating Spaces and Places

Student-created reporting on the symposium can be found here.

Each year the MA Global Media Management teaching team organises a thematic symposium to foster critical exchange between students, staff and external speakers and attendants. We are pleased to confirm it will take place at the Westside Lecture Theatre on Friday 16th February.

The title of this year’s symposium is ‘Beyond Boundaries: Navigating Spaces and Places’ and it seeks to delve into the multifaceted dimensions of space and place to examine how individuals, communities, and ideas traverse and interact in diverse spaces. Through interdisciplinary discussions, workshops, and lectures featuring innovative perspectives, we aim to uncover new insights, foster collaboration, and inspire transformative action.

The Symposium will start at 10.30 am and conclude with a reception at 4.30 pm. A more detailed version of the programme, featuring contribution titles and contributor bios, can be found here.
